Recovering Healers Charity

The Recovering Healers Scholarship supports individuals in New Mexico who are pursuing higher education in the fields of Social Work, Counseling, or Trade School programs within the state. Originally created to uplift Certified Peer Support Workers (CPSWs), this scholarship continues to champion their journey toward a Master’s in Social Work at New Mexico Highlands University.

This year, we’re expanding our mission. In addition to CPSWs, we are now welcoming applications from individuals who have experienced and overcome significant trauma in their lives and are seeking support to further their education and professional goals. Whether you're working toward a degree in mental health or a skilled trade, we believe in your potential—and we want to help you get there.

CPSWs are individuals in long-term recovery from mental health and/or substance use challenges. Through their lived experiences, they offer unique insight and strength to those they support, making them invaluable to the behavioral health community.

Join us in transforming lives. Your donation helps trauma survivors and individuals in recovery pursue education in Social Work, Counseling, and the Trades. Whether you contribute funds, sponsor a scholarship, or donate a raffle item, you're investing in healing, resilience, and the future of our community. Reach out today to become a sponsor, donor, or supporter. Together, we can help turn lived experience into lasting impact.
