Huda Ibrahim LMSW

Huda received her Master’s in Social Work from Columbia University in the City of New York. Huda is a trilingual therapist (English, Arabic, Tebu) who has experience working with children ages 11-13 in various issues such as ADHD, adjustment disorders, grief and bereavement, anxiety, family separation, immigration issues, and trauma. She also has a broad range of experience working with individuals dealing with housing crises by addressing housing needs and case management. Huda is certified in Motivational Interviewing. She has experience working with survivors of genocide, addressing issues of trauma, PTSD, displacement, and anxiety. Huda has started a mentorship program for girls living in internally displaced person’s camps in East Africa. As an immigrant woman, Huda believes in providing a safe space by focusing on the role Power, Race, Privilege, and Oppression plays in her client’s experiences. Huda has her Masters Social Work license from the State of New Mexico.
